Sparkle Greece co-location sites encompass an area of more than 8000 m2 and are situated in Koropi and Metamorphosis in Attica and in Chania on the island of Crete. We offer a wide range of state-of-the-art services including co-location with first and second level support, networking, managed hosting, cloud services, storage, disaster recovery as well as many others.

Hosting your computing and/or telecommunications system in one of Sparkle Greece sites provides fast, reliable and cost efficient connectivity options to other telecommunications providers, as well as to your customers.

Using 2N system back-up throughout each building, our infrastructure is designed and built to meet the most advanced international standards, in accordance with NEBS (Network Equipment Building Standards) requirements.

ELECTRICAL SUPPLY


• Protected high voltage power supply feeding two separate power transformers

• Electrical supply redundancy up to customer rack

• Diesel back up generators and redundant UPS  systems

• Double DC power feed for equipment A+B

• Electro-mechanical SLA is 99,999%

AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS


• Down flow venting to all IDC areas via raised floors

• Designed to operate in extreme conditions

• Temperature & Humidity are  monitored and controlled

• A temperature of 22oC±2oC is preserved at all times as well as a humidity of 50% ±10%. These conditions guarantee an SLA of 99,99%

FIRE DETECTION AND EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS


• The fire detection system are based on  sampling units and detectors

• Exstinguishing system is based on Gas automated system with manual override

MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEM


The BMS (Building Management System) operates 24 hours per day. It is connected to various sensors located throughout the
building to detect  warnings or malfunctions of mechanical and electrical systems.

A GUARANTEE OF SECURITY


• All buildings are equipped with market-leading security systems providing access control , guaranteeing round the clock protection.

• Admission and exits to workrooms are monitored by a central access system using “smart cards” and biometric

• Central CCTV operates in 24x7 monitoring and recording visitors access to all sensitive building areas.
